Character: Alamo Joe Rogan

Lance LeGault was a French-Cajun actor whose career began in Hollywood as a stand-in for several major stars, most notably Elvis Presley. In addition to stand-in work, LeGault performed stunts and occasionally appeared in small speaking roles, such as in the 1968 film The Young Runaway. Outside of screen work, he also maintained a steady career as a nightclub and lounge singer.

Throughout the 1980s, LeGault became a familiar presence on television, often portraying tough, hard-edged characters. His notable recurring roles included the relentless Col. Roderick Decker on The A-Team (1983–86) and the eccentric bounty hunter “Alamo Joe” Rogan on Werewolf (1987–88).

To Werewolf Fans and Friends:

The Werewolf TV Series was a pleasure to work on. “Alamo Joe” was my favorite character. The cast and crew were dedicated and terrific to work with. The 2-hour pilot was my favorite. David Hemmings directed and the script was very good.

All the best to all of you —

Lance LeGault
